Next up is some tap firing and you can see that produces tight groups for longer range. Close range though with this combination aiming down sights you can hold the trigger and control the recoil. I’m trying to control the recoil by pulling down but still there is bullet spread and toward the end of a magazine I’m missing quite a bit. In the first part you can see how controllable the gun is. You’ll finally be shooting nice tight groups. Muzzle brake helps by reducing upwards recoil and then add the stubby grip for reduced spread increase and you have a much better gun. But then a DMR is a better single shot rifle by far. Only any use if you plan to use single shot mode only and use a 93R pistol for close range. Wrong! Looking at those plots the heavy barrel will make your first shot much more accurate, but after that it’s miss, miss, miss.
#AK 12 BATTLEFIELD 4 PLUS#
What about the barrel and grip? We all played Battlefield 3 and BF4 works the same right? We know the heavy barrel plus a grip is good in BF3 and it adds accuracy so strap that on and we’re good to go? But what about the other types of attachments? All the lights and lasers I tend to avoid as they will let your opponent know you are coming. We already know the red dot sights, either Reflex or Coyote are better. At least getting a good gun and all of it’s many attachments feels like some kind of an achievement. More grind and that’s what’s bad about BF4.
Go back to what you were using before? Of course you know you need to unlock the attachments. Once you get the ACE23, you start to use it and it’s not that awesome.
This is what happens when you try and shoot someone 50mtrs away using the FAMAS with no attachments. I find these plots so useful for comparing guns and attachments. If we look on we can see accuracy plots such as the one above. If I compensate for the gun pulling up, my shots will still mostly land either side of the target by a long way. If I just point an MP7 at someone across a room and press fire until it’s empty I will miss him completely. The thing is bullet spread and, as you can see in the video above, some guns have it really bad. Why would that be? Is my gun just bad? Is everyone else hacking? You work out that you’re just missing all the time and yet some seem to never miss. Then they shoot back and you definitely do fall down. You’re aiming at your enemy and pressing the trigger but they don’t fall down. Often when playing Battlefield 4 it might seem like you’re shooting blanks. (Why doesn’t my gun work in Battlefield 4?) (Weapon and attachment selection or ‘How to fix your gun in BF4’.)
